2 pet home ready to welcome others!
Pet care experience
About 4 years ago, I adopted Rosie, a Bloodhound Mix, from a shelter in Virginia. Our family of 2 became 4 when my boyfriend and I moved to Texas this year with our two dogs - River, a Boykin Spaniel, and Rosie! River was brought home as a puppy and like my family's GSPs, has a lot of energy. He has received a lot of training for hunting and absolutely loves playing fetch with his tennis balls, cuddling up close, and going on walks/to the dog park. Rosie is the opposite and likes to be lazy in the other room in her own space. She has a very calm and patient temperament. The two of them became fast friends, so I know they'd be welcoming to any dog coming to stay with us! We walk them both at least once a day and take them to the dog park on the weekends. We also have a nice fenced-in backyard for them to run around in during the day!

Another amazing stay for our girl with Emily and Judd. They’re so kind, and we trust them implicitly to take great care of Keylee. She is obviously well loved and also comes home pleasantly tired from playing with River and Rosie. Cannot recommend enough!
Third stay for our girl with Emily and Judd. They are pros at making her feel welcomed and loved! Emily sent videos of Keylee playing with Rosie and River, and it was obvious she was having a blast! We have no worries about her when we’re away, confident she’s in the very best hands. 💜
Thanks again for taking such good care of our boy!!
This was our pup’s second visit with Emily and Judd. It is a great relief to know she is in caring hands when we’re away. I’m so glad we’ve found such sweet people who truly enjoy welcoming other pups into their home and lives.

Around the holidays, we have had up to 6 dogs running around my parents house! My family's dogs are all different breeds, ages, and personalities, but Rosie and River have had no issues. We feel confident in their ability to get along with any dog staying with us. We also feel confident in our ability to care for a wide variety of dogs in our home! We are new to Houston, TX and have decided to try Rover sitting! Please reach out if you need a comfortable home for your pet to stay!

Information Emily & Thomas C. would like to know about your pet
We give our dogs free roam of our house while we are away. It will be beneficial to know how you currently leave your pet. We have a spare crate your pet can borrow if needed, so you wont have to pack too much! We feed our dogs twice a day together - once in the morning and again in the evening. When we have a pet visiting, we feed them separately from our dogs. We would like to know your feeding schedule, so we can accommodate it while your pet is here! We allow our dogs on the furniture in our home! If your dogs are not allowed on the furniture, please let us know! I have a soft spot for rescues and will provide a discounted stay for adopted rescue dogs :)
A typical day
Our dogs are very different - River is very active and Rosie is the opposite! We try and take them on two walks a day, with a longer walk in the evening. There are baseball fields around the corner from our house, so we will bring a tennis ball and let them run around if the fields are empty! We also try and take them both to the dog park once or twice a week when the weather is cooler.

When I lived in Virginia, I did quite a lot of dog sitting for friends, family, co-workers, and other families I would frequently babysit for! We have experience assisting with all types of dogs. I grew up with German Shorthaired Pointers, so I have plenty experience with high-energy dogs. My parents have 2 more at home now, and I spent the last year living with them and dog sitting as needed. One of my parents GSPs was rescued as a senior and required extra care and attention. My older sister and her husband also have a passion for adopting senior dogs and I have helped out with their adopted dogs quite a lot too! My little sister adopted a skiddish, timid hound dog from a shelter in Virginia. When we lived nearby, Rosie and I helped get her out of her shell with house visits and dog sitting.
