Pet care experience
I'm ready to shower your fur-monsters with love and affection! Whether they need a playmate, cuddle buddy, or someone to love them from a distance, I've got you covered. DOGS: I have experience with young and adult dogs up to 100 lbs of all different breeds, including bully breeds (I love pitties!). I also have experience giving pills and topical medications. I'd love to take them for walks or bike rides if they're leash trained; if not, zoomies in the backyard are great! I'll meet you and your pup where you're at when it comes to training and socializing. CATS: I've had cats most of my life and have cared for them from kitten to senior. I have experience giving cats pills, liquid medication, and topical medication, including for senior kitties with more complex medical needs. I adore cats but don't have any of my own right now, so I'd love to snuggle with yours! Other pets: I've fed and cared for fish, geckos, bearded dragons, and more. Reach out and we'll discuss if I'm a good fit for any other animals, furry or not, you need cared for.

Emily has been so patient! We added a new puppy at the last minute before her first time and she was excited to meet our new boy and also wonderful at keeping all our babies happy. She sent pictures and was a real blessing to know that our babies were well cared for and made our time away that much better! Highly recommend!
Emily is great working with our cat. She stayed at our house and they seemed to have a great connection.
I am so grateful we found Emily on Rover. I had to have surgery and she made sure my puppies were safe, happy, cozy and taken care of while I was away. They absolutely loved her, and when I came home they were calm and happy. The communication was great. I loved the photos, in one they are both snuggling and smiling which was wonderful peace of mind getting out of surgery when I really missed them. Thank you so much for going above and beyond, giving them some extra time while I drove back and taking such wonderful care of my girls!

I follow your lead as much as possible. If you have specific times you'd like your pets fed or rules you'd like me to follow, I'll make that happen. Otherwise, we'll go with the flow, but make sure to get plenty of exercise and attention in (but also giving space for animals who prefer that -- I'm looking at you, cats with cattitude!). I do usually let pets in my room and on my bed, but if that would counteract any of your training, I'll follow your instructions, of course.

A typical day
Every day will be filled with as much love and affection as your fur-monster will let me give! After first-thing needs (potty break, breakfast, medications if needed), I love to snuggle with the monsters while I drink my morning coffee and become a human. I'm home most of the day, so we'll have plenty of time for play and attention, and maybe even some training time! If your dog is leash-trained and socialized, I'd love to take them for walks at whatever shaded spots we can explore nearby, presuming it isn't too hot for your pup's paws. Kitties might get a Churu or catnip treat (with owner permission)!

Availability
I'm a graduate student on summer break, so I've got all the time in the world for your pets! My only plans are hanging out and writing some papers, which I'd love to do with your fur-monsters on my lap. Please let me know if there are specific times or durations you'd like, but in general, I can be around as much as you need. Once the semester starts, I still primarily work from home with a couple afternoons a week on campus, so I can likely work with your schedule -- reach out and we can discuss details.
