I absolutely love dogs and they tend to respond well to my energy and friendliness. I grew up with a difficult but very lovable mini dachshund and he taught me a lot of responsibility and patience. My boyfriend and I have a high energy chocolate lab and we put her through a training course, so I have the skill set to handle dogs on a leash. This also taught me how to keep them calm in stressful situations. I am the self-proclaimed office dog sitter at my job and really enjoy house sitting and dog sitting. I often watch my boss's dogs for a week or two at a time. She has 4 large dogs--a golden retriever, a black lab, a retriever mix and a Swiss shepherd. She calls me for anything she needs, whether it is a quick visit to feed them/play with them or staying with them for days/weeks when she is out of town. They have some special needs including medication and I am always mindful to care for them exactly how she would care for them. I enjoy small dogs and large dogs alike and have no fear of any dog breeds. I prefer instructions ahead of time to make sure that I can best take care of your dog's needs. I know how important finding the right dog sitter is, so I would be thrilled at the consideration to take care of your pet children!
