Pet care experience
CSU Occupational Therapy Graduate Student with a flexible schedule! I have 2 English Coonhound mixes, Izzy and Louey! They are the best of sisters and love new friends. Finn her best friend also lives with us and is a male 4 yr old black lab who also loves a new buddy. Basically pups are a big part of our life and we wouldn’t have it any other way! We live in a well sized home with a wonderful backyard for playing, also nearby to parks and hikes! We keep everyday an adventure. I have had a diverse range of loving animals in my life from doggos to a sphynx cat to reptiles and birds. Love all animals, and have grown up being best friends with all of them! Willing to accommodate for any special needs or requests. Always on time and very reliable, not shy to puppies or kittens/other young animals!! I often love to stay in touch with clients to see how the pet is doing over time.*I have not used rover specifically since undergrad, most clients have been personal/professional contacts - I would be happy to provide a reference.*

I can't say enough about how glad I am to have Emily take care of my Boys. I have about 170 pounds of dog to care for and she's been wonderful with them, even though they are both princesses. Reliable, honest, and a great communicator, I never have to worry about the Boys not having a great time, being well cared for, and getting a good workout in. I even have her house-sit with them when I'm out of town and she's a wonderful guest in my home.
Emily is absolutely amazing! She made sure Jake was as comfortable with her as he is with me. She waited with him until storms were over, took him out for lots of walks, and kept him comfortable and happy! She sent us pictures everyday of her and jakes adventures and kept us up to date on how he was doing. Highly highly recommended!!

I have a fenced in backyard, and am frequently home with my pups daily I never leave my pups for more than 4 hours without having some checking on them. I make sure on walks that pups are secured and always carry a leash light/light up collars for extra safety. At clients homes I follow safety instructions in detail - I do not feed treats that are not approved by an owner and I make sure to care for and check-in on pups just as I would my own! I also love to send pictures of your happy pup to you while you’re away!

A typical day
Horsetooth, hikes nearby (poudre) or further on the weekends (Indian Peaks) dog parks (we only go to a smaller neighborhood one), neighborhood walks, natural area walks, backyard play (all approved by owners first)

I am very flexible, I have a part time job and class only two days a week! Plenty of time to play and care for your pups.
