Most people start out babysitting children, but I preferred taking care of people's dogs instead! Before I had my license, I would walk to neighbors' houses to feed, walk, and play with their dogs and collect their mail while they were out of town. It was a way to earn a little cash, but I mostly enjoyed playing with their dogs! Last summer, I took care of a family friend's dog while they were on vacation (dog in my profile picture). She has a bit of energy, so I walked her 1-2 times a day and played fetch with her outside. She is vocal about what she wants - attention! My roommate has a 3-4 year old dog that I take care of when she's at work - he's pretty relaxed (unless he must warn of us of something outside) and just lays around the house while he waits for his mom to get home! I am waiting to get a dog of my own until I'm more settled, but in the meantime, I can take care of yours!
