Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs - my family have had mutiple Dalmatians (the greediest) and a rescue greyhound (surprisingly the laziest). I have lots of experience looking after a range of breeds of friends/colleagues dogs, and enjoy getting to know each dog individually! I understand every dog is unique and requires an individual approach to their walks, play, attention and general care.

I highly recommend Emily and Matt who looked after my standard poodle Pushkin for 9 days. This was the first time I used Rover and the first time Pushkin stayed in someone else’s home, and on both fronts it was a very positive and smooth experience. Every day Emily would send me a brief update on Pushkin with a photo or a video, and it was wonderful to see how quickly he started feeling his real self, happy and playful - a clear evidence of the effort Emily and Matt made to build a relationship with Pushkin and gain his trust. He felt so settled and comfortable with Emily, I think he did not want to leave! It was a holiday not only for us but a mini-break for him as well. A fabulous experience, we would not hesitate to leave Pushkin with Emily again.
Maisie had such a great day with Emily, I was kept updated throughout the day with photos and Emily is very responsive on the app. Thanks so much for taking Maisie she definitely bonded so quickly with you!
Once again Bertie has been to his home from home, once we got just before the address he was up jumping around the car whining and and wagging his tail. Once we were out of the car he ran straight to the door getting very excited. Clearly loves Emily and Matt and jumped up giving out kisses when greeted. Definitely a great place to stay.
Once again Emily has given Bertie another great stay so much that like as before he did not want to leave!

I live on a private residential road which has little traffic. We are a few mins walk from Kent House station and can occasionally offer our off road parking space if you need to leave your car - please let me know in advance. Our flat is split floor and has a large fenced garden. There is enough space for dogs to play and also multiple rooms for them to have their own space if needed. Cator Park is a stones thrown from our house which guarantees your dog a good play with a new friend, or time in the enclosed dog field. There are various other parks nearby to suit all preferences!

A typical day
I love to keep dogs engaged and stimulated through a range of different toys and activities. Aside from walks and games in our well-sized garden, dogs I look after enjoy using enrichment toys such as lick mats and kong balls. We have a range of local parks in walking distance to suit all exercise needs.

I’m a trainee clinical psychologist in the NHS who works/studies from home one to two days a week and am available at weekends and most evenings. My partner lives at home with me and is often working from home. My sister occasionally visits and loves also helping out with the pups.
