Other than my own fur babies, I’ve cared for family, friends, and other individual’s pets for more than 5 years. I’ve also been an assistant groomer for 2 years. Animals are my life!

Emily has taken care of my dogs for several years . She has spent the weekend with them and been very loving and attentive. I had a dog that was afraid of thunderstorms and would hide in the bathroom. Emily would sit with her so she wouldn't feel alone . Emily has a special love for animals , you can see it by the way she interacts with them . I would highly recommend Emily !
Emily has been an assistant in my mobile dog grooming business for the past year. She has a natural way with the dogs and they respond to her presence so well. She is patient, kind, and responsible when it comes to caring for pets. I have no issue staying over night for house sitting. If there are special prep instructions for meals, crating, medication, or potty breaks I can ensure it’ll be done correctly. Since I have grooming experience if a bath or nail trimming is desired we can work something out

A typical day
There are so many different activities to do to stimulate them both physically and mentally! Walks around the Boardman Lake are a go to spot for me! It’s relatively secluded and there’s lots of smells for them to experience. If allowed, I can also make “popsicles” to help keep them cool in the summer. I usually just freeze broth, pieces of chicken, yogurt, and fruits or veggies in an ice cube tray. Not only does it keep them cool but helps stimulate brain activity
