Your Dog's New Best Friend! 🐶❤️

Pet care experience

I am so glad that you have landed on my profile! I have highlighted a few things about myself below, so that you can get to know me! ... While I am active on Rover, most of my furry friendships have not been initiated on this app. I am a pro at caring for dogs and I keep very busy with repeat clientele and my regulars. Feel free to reach out as I am currently accepting new clients and I would love to see if we are a good match. - I have grown up with dogs of all sizes/breeds/ages my entire life. I am a lover of animals and have experience with puppies as young as 4 weeks & senior dogs as old as 18 yrs. - I am a proud and protective parent to the love of my life, Marley (she's a goofy and loving 3 yr. old Bernedoodle), so I understand any and all hesitations when it comes to hiring a sitter. Especially since we have yet to meet! - I work from home and have a very flexible schedule because, well, I'm the boss ;) so you can rest assured that your pup will have all my attention to love and entertain them. As a devoted dog enthusiast I am ... Passion-Driven: My love for dogs goes beyond a job; it's a lifestyle. Your pet will receive the utmost love, care, and playtime in my company. And with that, you can expect... Tailored Activities: I customize activities and exercise routines to suit your dog's unique needs and preferences, ensuring a happy and healthy pup. Constant Communication: You'll receive regular updates and photos of your beloved furry friend, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Safety First: Your dog's safety is my top priority. I maintain a clean and secure, smoke free environment, follow best practices in dog supervision, comfortable administering medications, attending to pups with anxiety and am certified in pet first aid to handle any unexpected situations. Flexible Availability: I understand that life can be unpredictable. I offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your dog's needs, whether it's for regular walks, day care, or overnight stays. - I am that friend, sister, aunt, neighbor that always says yes to dog sitting because I genuinely enjoy it! In fact, I ask friends to take their dogs on hikes and playdates even when they don't need a sitter. - I love being around pups and my Marley loves company as well. She is playful yet intuitive. She loves small dogs, alpha dogs, all dogs! She has always adapted to the energy of other dogs which is why we are the perfect duo! - My home is a very safe space with room to roam, exercise and sprawl out while resting. - Marley and I love going on walks, swims, heading to the dog park and cuddling. I am new to online pet sitting but I am a pro at caring for your loved one.

We are UTTERLY DELIGHTED with Emily as a dog/house sitter. Historically, when we’ve travelled, we boarded our dogs at the vets office because we knew they would be safe there. We have looked for years for a higher quality alternative. We found it in Emily. Emily is not only terrific with dogs, she is reliable and professional. When we were gone, she communicated with us on a regular basis. It made our trip much more enjoyable to know that our dogs were getting exercise, being outside, and being taken care of at the highest level. We couldn’t be more happy and we look forward to working with Emily in the future!

Emily was easy to communicate with and sent updates throughout the stay. She gave Oscar lots of chances to exercise and play. I would book with Emily again!

Emily was amazing dog sitting out two dogs Scout and Roger for 10 days while we were away. She stayed at our house with them and was the perfect house sitter as well. She made sure they got lots of exercise and cuddles and kept us updated so we had peace of mind on our trip. We highly recommend her!

Information Emily S. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a dog, whether as a pet sitter or owner, it's crucial to gather important information to ensure the dog's safety, well-being, and happiness. Here are some key details to know ahead of time: - Special needs or behavioral quirks or issues (e.g., fear of thunder, separation anxiety) - Does your pet gets along with other dogs. - It's always great to know if you have left your dog in someone else' care before or if this will be the first time. - Any limitations or restrictions on physical activity If after a meet + greet we decide it's a good fit! I have a comprehensive list of prompts that I ask to have filled out prior to the first day of care. This endures that your pet's needs are met, and their care is consistent with their normal routine. It also helps pet sitters, veterinarians, or anyone responsible for the dog to provide the best possible care and address any emergencies or unique requirements effectively.

A typical day

Here's a glimpse of a typical day with Marley and me: Wake Up and Morning Walk: I start the day with a morning walk, allowing the dog to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. During this time, we explore the neighborhood, play fetch, and enjoy the sights and sounds. Feeding and Medication: Following the owner's instructions, I prepare the pet's breakfast and administer any necessary medications. Mid-Morning: Playtime and Enrichment: We engage in interactive play sessions, whether it's playing with toys, practicing basic commands, or solving puzzles for mental stimulation. Lunchtime: Outdoor Activities: After a short rest, we head outdoors for another walk, which also contributes to my daily step goal. This walk might include a visit to a nearby park for some off-leash playtime, or we might explore a different route to keep things interesting. Afternoon: Quiet Time: I provide a cozy and comfortable resting area for the pet to relax and take a nap. Late Afternoon: Training and Bonding: We spend some time working on training exercises to strengthen the pet's obedience and reinforce positive behavior. This can be both mentally and physically stimulating. Early Evening: Dinner Time: I serve dinner as per the owner's instructions, ensuring the pet receives a balanced meal. Evening: Sunset Stroll: We enjoy a leisurely evening walk, taking in the sunset and winding down for the night. Night: Bedtime Routine: Before bedtime, I make sure the pet has access to water and a last bathroom break. We wind down with some gentle play or cuddle time. Throughout the day, I maintain regular communication with the pet owner, providing updates and photos of their furry friend's activities and well-being. The day's activities are tailored to the pet's age, energy level, and preferences, ensuring they have a fun and fulfilling experience while staying in their own home. My goal is to keep both the pet and the owner satisfied, knowing their beloved companion is in good hands.

As a dedicated dog lover who works from home and runs my own business, I seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Here's how: Scheduled Playtime and Walks: I allocate specific times during the day for playtime and walks. This ensures that your dog receives the exercise and attention they need, promoting their physical and mental well-being. Work Breaks: Because I make my own schedule, throughout my workday, I take regular breaks to check in on and interact with your dog. These breaks are great for providing companionship and preventing boredom. Mealtime Routine: Feeding times are consistent and tailored to your dog's dietary requirements. I prioritize their nutrition and ensure they receive their meals as per your instructions. Quiet Work Environment: I maintain a calm and pet-friendly workspace to ensure a stress-free environment for your dog. This allows me to work while keeping an eye on your furry friend. Regular Updates: I keep you informed about your dog's activities and well-being through text messages or photos, so you can feel connected and assured even while you're away. Flexibility: Being my own boss allows me to adjust my work schedule as needed to accommodate your dog's needs, whether it's for extended playtime or special requests. In summary, my work-from-home setup and business ownership allow me to provide constant care and attention to your pet, making their well-being a top priority throughout the day.
