Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals and have grown to love them! I have experience training dogs and working with rescues with behavioral issues so I am comfortable with dogs that may not get along with other dogs, along with volunteering for the Arizona Humane Society I’ve grown a big soft spot for rescues! I myself have a little Shih Tzu and an American Eskimo. I grew up in Northern California with 6 cats, both inside and outside, and multiple dogs. Because of my knowledge, I can truly understand and care for your animals, overall based on my care experience and in any moment based on my knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and needs! Ask me anything!

I teally appreciate Emily taking care of my prt. Emily stayed with my cat for 5 days. Emily is a great communicator, on time, respectful and responsible. My home was clean and tidy when I returned and my pet was well taken care of and not stressed a bit over my absence. I would love to have Emily back, anytime! Thank you for a great job!
Highly recommend Emily to anyone in need of a dog or house sitter! In the past, we had always been fortunate to have family watch our dog while we were out of town so needless to say we were a bit apprehensive in having someone we didn't know do this for us. After meeting Emily, we knew our Boomer (and our house) would be in good hands. She made sure to send pictures regularly and update us on how Boomer was doing, which made us feel at ease being so far away from home. We would definitely use Emily again!!!!!!
Emily is absolutely wonderful! She did such a great job with my dog Socks, who doesn’t get along with other dogs and is picky about who he likes but he loved her. She’s very trustworthy and would send me tons of pictures and updates every day about Socks. She’s a pre-vet student at ASU so you know she’s great with animals! I definitely recommend Emily for your pet needs.
Good Morning - I used Emily S. for almost a week. From the first meet and greet, Emily was absolutely wonderful. My dog and 2 cats loved her. She left the house immaculate, not a dish in the sink, everything was locked up and I have a door bell cam so I could see when she was there or not. I will definitely use Emily again. I am very good at caring for dogs in various environments, as I have worked at two different boarding/day camp facilities and the dogs keep me on my toes. I have also watched other peoples dogs in both my home and theirs, so I can adapt to your normal routine. A big part of dog training/handling is also managing the environment as having multiple dogs (or just one!) in a smaller area can turn into chaos quickly, so in home, on walks, or really wherever we are I have instinctively learned to observe the dogs and the environment and use my knowledge on the topics to act accordingly.

Let me know if your dog needs any medications or is allergic to any specific ingredients/treats. Also make sure to tell me anything they don’t like or anything they LOVE! It is also nice to know any problem behaviors and how they walk on a leash and how they react when they see other dogs, nothing wrong with “problem behaviors” as I can handle it, I just like to be prepared! :)
A typical day
I always make sure dogs are mentally and physically stimulated so they can have the best experience! We’ll play inside and/or outside, take a walk and explore all the smells everywhere! Snack and nap time for the pup after all this exercise is crucial recovery!

Availability
I work part-time and my schedule tends to stay the same. I work 8 hours on Saturday/Sunday, so am only available after 6 or 7pm depending on the day. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work so I’m available before 3pm, and on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays my schedule is typically wide open for your fur babies!
