Hi there, my name is Emily. I am a young professional and paw-rent to Darcy, the Cavapoo. I have plenty of experience caring for dogs. I have grown up with dogs my entire life so I have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and temperaments. I also have experience looking after dogs for my family and friends. This past January, I brought home Darcy, now a 10-month old Cavapoo, so I have lots of experience caring for a puppy, potty training and working on loose-leash walking. I am working part-time, so I am able to fit in dog walking and dog sitting with my current work schedule. I am a huge dog lover, so being able to spend time with your furry friend will make my day that much better. I will follow your instructions when walking or visiting your dog. I will ensure that your dog is never outside without a leash and I am happy to crate your dog after visiting your home.

Please let me know if your dog has any needs or requirements before I walk them. I know every dog is different and has different quirks, that’s what makes them so special! But it’s good for me to know if your dog doesn’t like cyclists, kids, other dogs etc. before I walk them, that way I can choose an area to walk them that avoids these distractions.
A typical day
I know the importance of stimulating your dog mentally and physically. When I take your dog on walks I will encourage them to sniff and explore the neighborhood we are walking in. I am happy to play fetch or other games when I come check on your dog in your house. I am also comfortable doing training exercises so I’ll be sure to ask your pup to sit at crosswalks, for example, to encourage them to think while out having fun! I love walking along the water and know of a few great walking trails perfect for dogs.
