What does a dog eat for breakfast?
Pet care experience
Woofles! 🐶🧇 About Me: Hi! My name is Emily and I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m originally from a small town in northwest Missouri where my family owns a cattle farm. I just recently graduated from college in Rolla and am now working remotely and full-time in Chesterfield, MO. I live with my two dogs, Maya, and Enzo. Maya is a 2-year old border collie and Enzo is a 1-year old mystery dog (aka mutt). I have cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, snakes, geckos, birds, hamsters, fish, turtles, and even horses. I love connecting with animals and believe all creatures should be treated with kindness.
Reviews
Emily was fantastic! She followed instruction, asked thoughtful questions, outstanding communicator, shared photos daily, problem solved when our dog was extra whiny (whether our dog was working Emily over for an extra meal or just missing her family). I would absolutely recommend her to friends and have her back in the future. Thank you Emily!
Emily took such great care of Lucky while we were away. She truly treated him like royalty. She was great with communication, taking pictures, and ensuring our dog stayed in his routines. On top of that she took the initiative to grab our mail and put out our garbage cans. All above and beyond. Thank you Emily
Emily was amazing and treated my pup just like family. She really helped make the weekend relaxing and enjoyable, because I was confident my puppy was very well taken care. Highly recommend Emily for your pet too.
Emily is a wonderful, patient, and kind caregiver to all pets. She has experience training and caring for animals using a caring and empathetic approach using positive behavior reinforcement methods. She has experience with both large and small breeds. She is organized, prompt, trustworthy, and reliable when caring for your pets. I could not recommend Emily more to any fellow pet parent. She will love and treat your pet like her very own.

My Services: Meet & Greets: I do require meet and greets for all my services. This allows us to get to know each other and also for your pet(s) to become more comfortable with me. House Sitting: As I have my own dogs, I typically do not spend the night at my client’s houses and will need to leave throughout the day. I am available to check on your pets in the early a.m., late p.m., and stay for most of the day, but please understand that I am unable to provide 24 hour care. While I housesit, I am happy to help with other chores like checking the mail, watering plants, cleaning, etc. Drop-in Visits: I am available throughout the day to check in on your pets, feed them, give potty breaks, and engage in playtime or snuggles. Dog Walking: I am available throughout the day for 30-to-60-minute walks in your neighborhood. Boarding & Doggy Daycare: Unfortunately, I do not provide boarding or doggy day-care services at this time.

My Experience: From Rover clients to family pets, I have cared for newborn puppies, elderly diabetic cats, and dogs who eat mostly green beans. Every pet has their own personality and special needs that I strive to meet. Whatever you have, I’m up to the challenge! Special Medication Experience: My family pet, Indy, is a senior cat who has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. He has developed such severe allergies that he must eat a specialized diet and is on daily steroids and anti-anxiety medication. His allergies make patches of his fur fall out, and also make him so itchy that he will lick himself raw. Because of this, he must wear a cone at all times and has a special skin spray he receives twice a day on his bald spots. As he seems to still be enjoying life, we strive to do our best for him. Indy lives with my parents, but on occasion I have taken over his duties so they can enjoy a few days away. Special Diet Experience: I understand that each pet has their own unique diet so please do not feel the need to simplify your pet’s food routine for me. For my own dogs, they receive kibble toppers like blueberries, omega oil, pumpkin, and vitamins every day. In the past, I have fed my dogs a raw diet. My family cats all eat kibble in the morning, wet food at night, and have anti-anxiety medication mixed in. I have bottle fed both newborn puppies and kittens with formula every few hours. I have had a client whose dog ate mostly green beans that were heated in the microwave, and I have made daily fresh fruit and veggie salads for a Quaker parrot. Special Exercise Experience: I have two high-energy dogs who require a lot of exercise each day to keep their mind and body happy and healthy. I have also had clients who are older and need much slower and gentler exercise. If your pet needs their ball thrown for an eternity or needs to take their time when out for a neighborhood walk, I am happy to oblige them. I also recognize that mental stimulation is often more tiring than physical exercise and allowing time for sniffing during walks or other outings is extremely important. Special Training Experience: I have attended multiple dog training classes and am happy to help you with the current training needs you have. I understand that consistency is key so if you are working on not letting your dog pull on their leash, jump up on people, are potty-training, etc. I will continue their training expectations while they are under my care. I have potty-trained both of my dogs and have trained many tricks like sit, down, touch, spin, turn, peek-a-boo, sit pretty, wait, shake, catch, wave, and more. I believe in positive-reinforcement training and will never punish your pet for unwanted behavior.
