As a sitter, I have a true compassion for taking care of animals. There’s no better experience to me than to dedicate time to each and every pup that needs it! After all, dogs have always been there for me, so I believe that it’s my duty to give back to them however I can. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pup, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! But since I don’t have any dogs of my own right now, your pup will have my complete and undivided attention! I’ve been around dogs for pretty much my entire life. As a kid, I grew up owning lots of large dogs, like German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Labs, and Huskies. I’m very familiar with large pups and have no problem looking after them! Later on in life, I wanted to start giving back a little more and became a volunteer at an animal shelter. It was a wonderful experience and I learned so much about taking care of animals that need a little extra TLC to thrive. From then on, I became a professional dog walker and am now attending nursing school! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is the heart of every good booking! Right from the get-go, I like to get as much information about you and your pup as possible. That way, I can start thinking about how to make your pooch’s time with me a dream come true! During the stay, I’m always forthright with my communication and provide detailed daily updates to owners. I’m happy to take notes on anything from meal prep to exercise times--or anything else you need to know that your best friend is in good hands!
