Pet care experience
I started working in veterinary medicine when I was in high school. Seven years later and I have only grown to love animals more. Being a veterinary professional, I have lots of experience with special needs pets as well as those who require a little extra patience. Despite my small stature (I’m only 4’ 10”), I can take excellent care of your pets, young or old, big or small.

I wouldn't trust my cats or my door code with anyone else! Emily is fantastic. She's so nice and gives great updates on what the kitties are doing while we're gone.

Emily is just fantastic. She was able to pop in and take care of my kitties on Thanksgiving with very short notice when my husband and I went on a last minute trip to Chicago to see his grandparents. She's great. I love the photos she sends of both cats and the time she takes to make sure they are both fed, watered, and the litterbox is cleaned before she leaves. We will definitely keep calling on her in the future! I feel like I can trust my fur babies with her when I'm away.
Emily has gone above and beyond whilst my new husband and I were on our honeymoon. She managed to get my very shy cat to greet her at the door after only a few days. She shared photos every check-in and stayed in communication the entire time. I am so happy we found her on Rover. I wasn't sure how it would go finding a cat sitter on a wellknowndog sitting app

I have lots of experience handling dogs. I am able to read body language and can pick up on cues that others might miss. When caring for your pet in your home, I will give it plenty of attention while respecting your space. My top priorities are the safety of your pet and myself as well as your trust. Trusting someone with your fur baby is not an easy decision but I am up for the task!

Due to the nature of my work, I am constantly learning new ways to stimulate pets and keep them occupied. Depending on location, I am up for exploring parks and areas with your furry friend.

Availability
My schedule at the clinic requires multiple 8 hour shifts a week. I do however, have my schedule multiple weeks in advance making it a little more flexible. Throughout my years working at this clinic I have been able to pet sit with multiple different kinds of commitment due to its flexible schedule. While I’m working I do have an opportunity to check on your pet throughout the day allowing for their comfort and security to be a top priority.
