Pet care experience
I appreciate animals for all of their services. I have lived with and taken care of family cats and dogs for the majority of my life. I volunteered for one year at a no-kill animal shelter caring for dogs and cats to be adopted. I love to walk outdoors and having company is always better! Playing or walking your dog is a job I consider to be very rewarding as all of us animals need interaction and stimulation on a daily basis and regular excercise is necessary for maintaining behavioral and physical health.
Reviews
We could not be happier with the service and care Emily provided for our Collie Max. Max has quite an energetic personality and really needs a lot of attention, walks, etc. Emily was very communicative with us and paid attention to the details and specifics with Max's diet and exercise schedule. It's clear that Emily is an animal lover at heart and strived to give Max everything he needed. We highly recommend Emily as a caregiver!

Emily is a responsible, caring person. When I leave town for tour, Emily takes care of my Jasper. She’s been my consistent cat sitter for the past 2 years. Very clean too!
About Emily S.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I cannot offer room services for your pet in my own place of residence but I am very respectful of each person's property and privacy. I value your time and am appreciative of being able to take care of your furry child. I thrive on clear communication so I can precisely follow instructions on how to properly sit your pet (feeding, medication, putting to bed, etc.).
Information Emily S. would like to know about your pet
If the dog has any phobias or places they do not like to be touched. Are they compatible with other animals? How are they with other people/ children? Do they require any medications? Do they have any specific food allergies?
A typical day
Besides taking walks together, the classic game of fetch is something I am sure to try to engage with your pup. Peanut butter in a Kong is a fun, passive activity if fetch does not go well! As far as places are concerned; I will head to the closest park or green space unless directed otherwise on walks.

Availability
I currently work part time so caring for your pet is easily incorporated into my schedule. 20-25 hours is an accurate amount of my time I am willing to put aside for your furry child.
