Pet care experience
Working with dogs is something that I have always been passionate about! I volunteered at High Tails Animal Rescue Sanctuary for 3 summers walking, training, and fostering dogs. I also fostered dogs in college, including a handful of puppies. During my last two years of college, I worked as a professional dog care specialist, taking care of young and senior dogs. Recently, I have also been training my my parents’ new puppy and a coworkers rescue pup.

A typical day
I love to go for walks around the neighborhood or parks. We can play fetch, frisbee, or just run around in my apartment’s dog park. Along with physical activity, mental stimulation is very beneficial to your pet, so I will work on simple commands and reward with treats allowed. Foraging for treats in the grass is also a fun activity I like to do with the pets I watch, which is a good enrichment activity.

I currently have a job during the week with every day being around 11 hours long. I am looking for pets to take care of mostly on the weekends and maybe during the week in the evenings if my schedule allows.
