Pet care experience
I've been working with Oakland Animal Services and CatTown to foster several animals very successfully for the past 5 years, but have been taking care of cats and dogs since childhood, 28 years ago. I'm patient with your animals, make sure they follow your desired rules, and give them a little extra love while you're gone, because missing you will be hard. Not to mention, I'm a professional photographer, so depending on the light, the photos I send of your babies may be amazing. Besides from that I just genuinely care about animals, enjoy caring for them, and have the experience doing so.

Emily helped us tremendously when we were in desperate need for help with our cat! A few days before our 3-week vacation, our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and needed injections. Our scheduled sitter was not comfortable with injections so thankfully we found Emily. She was wonderful with him and provided updates along with amazing photos. Would definitely recommend Emily!

I have a fenced yard at my home, but don't let cats outside. My home is very cat and dog proof. I am also very respectful of your home should I house sit for you. I do not cross client's boundaries, clean up after myself and try and leave your home better than I found it.

A typical day
I love running on the beach or trail running with dogs I spend time with, weather and energy level permitting. For dogs that need a slower pace, we enjoy steady long walks with a few extended sniff breaks at exciting green spaces near your home. For older or less energetic pets, a lounge day with optional snuggles is always on the menu!

I'm flexible and have a car and can come to you! I am mainly 'work from home' so can be with your pets around the clock if need be.
