Native Seattleite looking for both couch potatoes and outdoor enthusiasts of all breeds. I've loved dogs since the first one I met (an Irish Setter named Tuck) and have been dog-sitting/walking on-and-off since I was 10 years-old. I've held a variety of different jobs in my lifetime, from wedding facilities manager to landscape designer, and in all of those jobs I've been awarded large amounts of responsibility - all of which I take very seriously. Safety and resourceful thinking in the case of emergencies are high on my list and I keep these two things heavily in mind when caring for pets. I consider myself very communicative and responsive and will always clarify on specific needs for your unique pup. :) Outside of the more defined responsibilities of pet care, I always, /always/ use positive reinforcement and am happy to help facilitate any training you're currently working on. I am also unwaveringly patient and am not embarrassed to get visibly and audibly excited for them when they do something right in training.
