Pet care experience
I began professionally working with our furry friends 10 years ago. It started in college as a fun job at a doggy daycare/boarding facility and became my passion. While working at Paws-N-Claws I became familiar with all types of breeds and ages. I was with the pups from breakfast to bedtime and took care of all the feedings and administration of medicines. Since that time I have been involved in dog rescue and have 2 of my own. I believe we are blessed to share this world with such loving, loyal companions and they should all be recognized for the gifts they give us. This past year I became a reiki master and decided I would work with animals because they have so much to teach us about unconditional love. I have always had a connection with animals, and becoming a reiki master gave me the tools to understand my intuitive gifts at a much deeper level. They are always communicating with us if we are quiet and listen. I know that the business of life can get in the way of important one on one time with our pets, and I want to help give them that special time to honor and love them for all they do. I believe that love and exercise is the key components to a happy life for us all. Working with animals isn't just a job for me, it is a true passion.

Emily is fantastic!! My husband and I recently moved and both work opposite shifts. We didn't feel like we were able to give our dogs the time they deserved so we looked into getting a dog walker and someone to spend time with them that we couldn't give them. I have to say, Emily is the best! We have a Hungarian Vizsla and a pit mix and they connected with her immediately. She really took the time and asked questions to get to know them. Ever since we have moved, our Vizsla has had trouble with anxiety around strangers. When I saw she had trained in reiki I thought that would be perfect! The dogs have now gotten more comfortable in our area and get excited to go play! I can feel that they trust her. We have even used her to watch them while we were out of town and they were very well taken care of. She gave us frequent updates on how they were doing. I can't say enough good things about her. She is exactly what we were looking for. Emily is always on time, positive, and definitely loves what she does. Highly recommend Emily! She is great!
Emily is the best, there aren't many people I trust with my fur family, but she is part of our pack! My pups love her, always happy tails when she comes around!
Emily is always my first choice as a dog sitter!I think my dogs like her better than me!she has been dog sitting for me for over six years she is reliable and punctual without fail!You won't be disappointed if you pick Emily to sit or walk your dogs!
Emily has taken care of my two cats several times when I've been out of town. She came over and sat with them so they didn't get lonely, they are used to having people around. She stayed with them long enough to let the outdoor cat go outside so he wouldn't go stir crazy while I was away. Anytime she has pet sat for me my apartment was as clean as I left it and both cats were as fat and happy as usual. Emily loves animals, I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter.

A typical day
My outings will depend according to the preferences of the pet parent for activities. We can go on slow walks with time for sniffing for the older ones or fast paced walks/jogs for more energetic dogs. We can go to the parks to interact with others or do more personal one on one time. I am a fan of all activities and want to give your pet the most fulfilling experience for the time we are together.
