I’ve had cats, dogs, turtles, frogs, and more dogs from a young age. I enjoy walks, runs, the dog park and hikes with dogs just as much as snuggles and would be happy to provide the same care for your dog whether they are active, mellow or somewhere in between. I’ve been taking care of dogs primarily in the last 7 years for friends, neighbors and pet sitting. I have experience in the medical field (EMT and wilderness first responder), have had to bandage, administer meds, etc to pets and am willing to take care of pets with medical needs. I use reinforcement based training methods with my dog and am happy to continue any training as needed.

Got daily videos and pictures if rosie hiking swimming and having a blast! She was in a great mood when i picked her up. 10/10 would book again
Emily was a fantastic dog-walker who checked in on and walked our little guys while we were vacationing outside of Durango. She responded so quickly, was flexible with what we needed, and even followed up with photos of our pups. Thanks to Emily for letting us enjoy our day out!
Emily is amazing. She walked my 3 legged log regularly for years. Always mindful of his special needs, she would take him on r regular adventures on the trails. She was extremely reliable and I always knew my nugget was well taken care of. I highly recommend !!!

I have a dog who loves other dogs. He loves to play but will also leave another dog alone if they aren’t interested. I do not have a fenced in yard but live near several options for leashed and unleashed walking or hiking. If you dog is more comfortable in a crate to rest, I have one we can use but otherwise they are free to be on the couch, dog beds, or around the house with me.

A typical day
I usually go on 3 various length walks or outings (dog park, hike, etc) a day depending on needs or schedules. If we go on longer adventures it’s 2 with potty breaks of course. I take dogs to the river if they like to swim had have good recall, hike, neighborhood walks, etc. We will also have time to rest, be peaceful and nap to be calm and enjoy a comfy dog bed or couch.

Availability
I work from home and generally have a flexible schedule. I’m available for midday walks or breaks as needed within reason. Your dog will never be left alone for periods of time (likely not at all) and will get lots of love.
