I’ve been the go to pet sitter in my neighborhood ever since I was young, taking care of a variety of different dogs (and chinchillas) all throughout high school and college. I’ve also grown up living with multiple dogs my entire life where I was responsible for feeding, walking, and playing with them. My prior experience and comfort level around dogs allows them to warm up to me more quickly. Lastly, my sister has two dogs with medical conditions that I watch every now and then and have to make sure I follow their medical regimen.

You won't find a more reliable and responsible person than Emily when it comes to caring for your loved ones. She pet sits for my wife and I and we never worry because we know our Lucky is in good hands when we're away. Emily has always helped care for our family dogs and has experience with different breeds and sizes. She's also helped care for other dogs in our neighborhood. If you want a big-hearted animal lover who's dependable and competent watching your pet you have found the right person.
Emily has a big heart when it comes to animals. She interacts with them very well. She enjoys playing with them and taking them for walks. Emily has had a dog since she was born. As she got older, she took on the responsibility of feeding, playing, walking & cleaning up after the dog. Even today, Emily lives on her own yet she still comes by just to stop in and say hi to our Lucky (before anyone else, LOL) and then takes him off to the dog park for a walk and plays with him. When my husband and I go away, she takes care of Lucky and we know he is in good hands. She is very responsible and follows the directions which we leave her and makes sure if he is on new meds she follows those directions provided by the vet. You couldn't ask for a better enthusiastic, loving and committed care provider.

For boarding (small-medium dogs only): I am happy to let your pet snuggle with me at night, and they will be allowed free range of my apartment. I do not have a yard, but there is a dog park five minutes away that I take my parents dog to all the time. They’re also is a nice walking path in my neighborhood with an indoor dog bath house in case your furry friend gets a bit messy. I’m comfortable doing almost anything that you need me to do for your dog, happy to discuss any special requirements your pet might have. For watching a dog in your home: I am very respectful, and will make sure to leave your place the same, if not in better condition then you left it. I’m comfortable doing most things for pets, so happy to discuss any specific needs for your pet. Also willing to take your pet to the local park or on a walk around the neighborhood if applicable.

A typical day
I love going for walks, especially when it is nice outside. My development has nice walking paths with free doggie bags. I also live within minutes of two nice parks, one with a fenced in dog park that I’d love to take your pups to! And then of course, end the day with some snuggles.

Availability
I work full-time from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I’m in the office usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but with enough notice, I can definitely work from home those days as well depending on the weekend, I am open to boarding smaller dogs, or housesitting and watching any type of dog.
