Hello! My name is Emily and I live in the Bay Area (Oakland) but have reliable transportation to get to wherever you are. I have loved animals my entire life and have no limitations on the animals that I care for, I love and treat them all the same. I have experience caring for many type of animals; dogs, cats, fish, birds, horses, snakes, etc. I am very respectful of other people’s space and will leave your space just how I found it. I would love to have the opportunity to care for your beloved pet(s) in any way that you may need!

Emily cared for our home and two persnickety cats like they were her own. She was thoughtful about meals and snacks, double checking that everything was right, and followed our too-long list of instructions to the letter. She was patient and respectful with our guy who likes to yell and keep his distance, and gave our needy boy lots of love. We received updates and pictures, and returned to happy babies and a house that was just so. A special bonus was deep respect for our vegan kitchen! Best of the best!
Emily is your person! We have two bengal cats with big personalities who need human interaction to thrive. We haven’t taken a real vacation since before they came into our family – we didn’t feel right about leaving them with just anybody. Then Emily came into our lives! We just returned from a week away while Emily stayed with our boys at our home. It was the first time we felt confident leaving them for so long in someone else’s care. Emily was incredible from start to finish! Highly recommend.

I have a fenced in yard with rocks and grass, and nearby parks and quiet streets for strolling. In my clients homes I will ask for the preferred areas that the pets are allowed, and do my research on the neighborhood and places to safely take your pet to let out some energy.

Availability
I work full time with a hybrid model - going to the office 1 or 2 days per week. On those days, I can accommodate evening walks/attention, and on days where I am home I have much more flexibility with time.
