"The more I learn about people the more I like my dog." Hi there! I am a loving, responsible dog-momma committed to providing excellent care to your precious pup! I volunteered at a shelter for 5 years, providing medical treatment to puppies with the parvovirus and occasionally filling in for dog walkers, so I am used to all sorts of breeds and temperaments and am truly a lover of all dogs. I can bring my dog, Abby, along for walks or she can stay behind, whichever is most suitable for your needs. I give fast walks/jogs and can usually cover quite a bit of distance, but can slow down for the smaller or older pups. House-sitting: Unless otherwise directed, I'll generally care for your pup consistent with how I care for mine. I try to feed the dogs at the same time (1X in the morning, 1X in the evening) and give them walks at the same time. I'll let the dogs out first thing when I wake up in the morning and one last time in the evening before I go to bed - I'll adjust the bathroom breaks/walks during the day based on how often your dog needs to go out.

I would prefer to know anything about anxiety/aggression - such as fear of certain noises, leash aggression, anxiety around men, etc. I have plenty of experience with dogs that have quirks like these, it is just important for me to know upfront.
A typical day
I love going on walks around the neighborhood, especially to Cheeseman Park where there are lots of people and dogs to provide plenty of stimulation for the pups! If your dog likes it, I also enjoy taking dogs to dog parks where they can play in a safe, fenced-in environment. Also, I am a runner and if your dog goes on runs I can take him/her on a little jog for extra exercise.

Availability
I work from home, which is basically paradise for my dog, Abby. She goes out in the morning, sometime around midday, and then we do an evening walk after 9-5 work hours. Finally, she'll go out one more time before we go to bed. Because I work remotely, I'm able to adjust this schedule to fit your dog's needs - pretty ideal! On the weekends or sometimes after work, I enjoy taking my dog to the dog park to exercise and play.
