As someone who has loved pets for all my life, I love to meet and care for different animals! I have had dogs all my life, including a sixteen-year-old Shiba Inu named Chloe, a 5-year-old cocker spaniel mix named Elsie, a 2-year-old German Shepherd Mix named Beau, and a little black cat Max we took in off the streets just a few months ago. They are such personalities and I could talk about them forever! I volunteered at the Greenville Humane Society for two years, and volunteered at East Lincoln Animal Hospital recently to work with the amazing veterinarians there. In the veterinary hospital, I've assisted with a lot of hands-on work dealing with animal handling, external medicine, nail clipping, and various hygiene practices. I've learned a lot from them already, and have enjoyed every second getting to help all the cats, dogs, and even a pig! I would love to meet and bond with your furry friends, I know how much they are loved! Also, I have been a paid dog-walker and pet-sitter in the past, so I know the ins and outs of working with your loved pets. I have had a lot of experience dealing with older animals, so that should definitely not be a worry.
