Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs since I was 8. We had A Chihuahua that I loved dearly. Once an adult, I have never been without a pet. I have had dogs, cats, guinea pigs and chickens. Currently I have 1 dog, a cat and 2 chickens. I have cared for and trained puppies and senior/special needs dogs as well. I have also cared for guinea pigs all through out their lifetime. I have had jobs at horse stables, and Pet Sit for them as well, so I am familiar with their care and needs. I love all animals. I find caring for them rewarding and fulfilling. I have Pet Sit for family and friends as long as I can remember. You can be assured that any animal left in my care will not only be safe and cared for they will be loved and socially engaged as well.

Emily was patient with a 15-year-old deaf dog who has not had much experience with alternative care providers. She was able to assess the level of interaction that Zoe could handle and is willing to continue building a relationship with Zoe so that she builds trust. She was always transparent in her daily reports and in her communications. Emily was punctual with each visit and stayed the allotted time.
Emily is amazing and very accommodating to our ever changing schedule! I highly recommend her!

This is the third or fourth time Emily has cat sitted for us, and she always does a wonderful job! She sends photos and her feedback following each visit always has us laughing. We will continue to use Emily for our pet sitter needs!

A typical day
I like to keep the dogs I care for busy. I have puzzle feeders where I hide treats and Kongs filled with peanut butter and then frozen for maximum lick time. I have a creek on our 5 acres where I like to take the dogs that like water. And of course plenty of scratches and cuddles once they are worn out after a long day of play. Smaller dogs get plenty of lap time.

Availability
Pet care is my job so when you leave your pet with me they will have my full time and attention. I never care for more than one pet, plus my own, in my home so that I can be sure your pet has the best care possible.
