Emily is an absolute joy! Her attention to every detail, (and not just those in the survey), was incredibly reassuring! Our "meet and greet" was more like welcoming a friend for a cuppa tea. Truth be told, I think our dog was a bit disappointed to see us... I think she was hopeful that Emily would be back for the next walk. The thesaurus and dictionary don't have enough words of praise... and the rover ...
My wife and I feel very fortunate having Emily there to take care of our dog. We miss him but are comforted knowing he’s in such good hands.
First things first. I highly recommend Emily. She took care of my elderly dog Charlie while we were away for a week or long weekends. She's fantastic. She leaves detailed notes. She checks in and out when she's at the house. She contacted me with questions. I cannot say enough good about her work ethic and passion for animals. Thanks, Emily. I am sorry that Charlie has now passed (17 years 6 months 10 days ...
A huge dog lover to spoil yours!
Hi, I'm Emily. I love all dogs and will give yours all the attention and care they deserve while you are away. I have grown up with dogs for most of my life, and when I moved to England to study several years ago and was unable to have a dog of my own, I eased my deprivation of dogs by regularly sitting for neighbors, with whom I've formed great relationships and loved their dogs ...
What Emily would like to know about your dog
Your dog must be up to date with vaccinations and treated for flea and ticks. If you have a puppy who is not house trained, there will be an additional fee for clean ups, etc.
If possible, I would like to meet with you before I first look after your dog to get to know them a bit beforehand.
Important things I like to know include: how your dog gets along with other dogs/people; any particular anxieties or phobias your dog may have; rules, routines, or training regimens you have for them (e.g., getting them to sit before going outside or eating, places they are not allowed in the house, etc.); any trouble they tend to get into that you'd like me to look out for (digging in the yard, for example); and any past or present medical/health issues, as well as medication needed. I also like to meet your dog ahead of time with you so that I'm not a stranger when I come to see them without you there.
