Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Emily, I am a lifelong lover of all animals living in a 4 bedroom single home in the Meadow Brook Ranch neighborhood in Chico, CA. I have had numerous pets throughout my life as well as cared for others. I am very active and love to enjoy the outdoors with my furry friends. I have an 8 year old lab mix, his name is Maverick! He loves to swim, hike, camp, walk around the neighborhood, and chill in the backyard. He is extremely good with other dogs, he matches each new friend he meets! Together our pups will have a blast. I have volunteer service experience walking and playing with dogs and cats at the local Humane Society where I'm from in Pennsylvania. Currently, I work as a full time Registered Nurse and although I only work with people now, I would very much love to grow in working with 4 legged ones! My goal is to make sure your dog enjoys their time and is as comfortable as possible. I am open to caring for dogs of any size as well as traveling to dog sit in your home. We left our 5 month old crazy puppy with Emily overnight and could not be more pleased with the care she received. Emily was understanding of the demands that puppies can have and was very patient with our puppy. She sent photo updates without even having to ask! She walked our puppy twice in one day and her dog Maverick was such a good and playful friend to our puppy while Emily took care of her. I highly recommend Emily's care and could not be more impressed! :)
Emily is the best dog mom! She will treat your dog like her own, and make sure they get lots of pets, snuggles, and attention.
Emily is the sweetest person ever and we always know our dog is in great care when he is with her. She really loves dogs and it shows. Our boy Lincoln loves when he gets to spend time with Emily and we trust our baby with her. You should definitely meet Emily and her boy Maverick. They share such a special bond. I highly recommend Emily when it comes to dogs.

A typical day
The neighborhood I live in is brand new and still growing. Maverick and I walk the neighborhood each morning and night. We spend a lot of time at the park, mostly Bidwell, Wildwood, Hooker Oak, or Baroni Park. We also hike to the river so Maverick can swim, it's his favorite thing to do! My backyard is very spacious and good for running around to play rope or fetch or taking a nap in the shade.
