Pet care experience
I grew up always having a dog in the house, and even at a young age I took on the responsibilities of caring for them. I am the "go-to" person for my family and friends when they need a dog-sitter. I have a love for all animals, but specifically dogs! I am a compassionate and caring individual, as seen through my career as an occupational therapist in an assisted living facility. I am very active, and love living in downtown Raleigh, where there are plenty of parks, restaurants, and shops to walk to. Your dog will receive full attention from me throughout their stay, and will enjoy long, frequent walks and runs, if appropriate. I look forward to providing your dog with the best possible care!

Emily was so sweet and even came to meet my dog beforehand (and I was running really behind-she was super flexible!). I totally trusted my pup with her and she did a fabulous job taking care of her and returning her happy and healthy.
Penelope had such a wonderful stay-cation with Emily. She had lots of cuddle time, enjoyed people-watching from the balcony windows, and spent the afternoons sunbathing in the living room. Her time with Emily is no different than being with Mom - it might actually even be a little better, because who doesn't enjoy more walkies. Thanks Emily!!
Emily is a loving and caring person to ALL, which includes animals as well as people. She has had a dog all her life, as she grew up, as well as her cat Fudge. She is responsible without a fault, always stepping in to be sure our dog was fed, walked, played with. She treats her pets as she does people, understanding each animal has its own unique personality. And she treats all her commitments, responsibilities, relationships and endeavors with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and genuine concern. She would so enjoy the opportunity to care for your pets, and would do an excellent job!!D
