I begged for a dog my entire growing up and finally got one when I was 10. From then on, I was the main caretaker of my family dog—walking, agility training, bathing and grooming. Since that first pup, I have lived with and taken care of many dogs and even have a pet portrait painting business! I easily match puppy energy and have a genuine love for them.

We have booked with Emily several times because she is absolutely the best. Our often skittish doggo, Daisy, became fast friends with her and now whenever we need to board Daisy, we refer to it as "going on holiday" when she stays with Emily. Highly recommended for her thoughtfulness, her love and confidence with dogs, and flexibility.
Emily watched my pup, Sierra, while I was out of town for a long weekend and I would definitely recommend her! Sierra loves cuddles and being outside for walks, hikes, swims, etc. Emily took Sierra outside for a hike and made sure she was comfortable in her new environment inside. Emily also shared photos and updates, which I really appreciated so that I could see how well Sierra was doing. Thanks so much, Emily!

I am a textile designer working out of my home studio, so I am home during the day and looking for excuses to go on walks around the neighborhood and hikes in the adjacent redwood forest with your cute pup. I work 3 nights a week with fairly short (6-7 hour shifts) and most nights my roommate comes home from their 9-5 during that time, so the dog wouldn't be home alone for very long.
