I have lived with animals my whole life and currently live with my cat. I have experience with cats and dogs, especially nervous ones! I have also had experience working on a farm with horses and chickens. I completely understand high maintenance pets and am happy to provide whatever your animal needs! I have puppy and senior experience, additionally with giving oral medications.

We've been having Emily come work at our farm for almost 7 years and we can attest not only to her practical skills with handling horses, dogs, and skittish barn cats, but also her warm personality and impressive work ethic. With 4 horses, 13 chickens, 4 dogs, and 3 cats, looking after our property while we're away is no easy task, but Emily handles it all no problem— she even learned to operate our farm vehicles to help out with property maintenance. I have a car so I’m happy to drive wherever and if needed, my car is pet friendly. I am happy to do dog walks and litter box changes when needed and I have time in the afternoon and on weekends to hang out with your pets!

I unfortunately don’t have any experience with special needs pets. I am comfortable with a large list of tasks or uncommon care tactics. I’m also happy to have a quick meet before agreeing to pet sit so you can decide if I’m a good fit and so your pet can meet me.
A typical day
With dogs I love to play and run around or simply sit with your pet while they’re napping. My dog will either be running around or sleeping soundly so I’m familiar with different activity levels. With cats I’m happy to play around with toys or simply sit with them as I know some cats are shy.

I currently work full time so I can do early mornings and afternoons after 4pm. I’m free all day all weekend so I can hang out with your pets the most on weekends.
