Passionate Dog Trainer in Training!

Pet care experience

I have been taking care of other people’s dogs, cats and other small pets since I was about 8 years old. I started off watching my neighbors’ pets long before I could drive. I have my own yellow lab and two cats as well! Right now I am working on a professional dog training certification so that I can become a dog trainer. I have always loved dogs and decided to use my passion to help dogs and their owners live together more harmoniously through proper and humane training methods. You can be assured your pets will be safe with me and that I will treat them with the utmost respect, patience and care. As a trainer in training, I know how important your pet is to you!

Emily is really great with my cat, Oliver! She always leaves detailed recaps from her visit so I feel very comfortable having her over. I’ve booked her multiple times now and would highly recommend her for any pets.

Emily is wonderful with our 5 month old puppy! My communication with Emily is always very professional. She is always on time and leaves us great reports from the drop-in visits.

Emily was a wonderful and caring sitter for our cat while we were on vacation. She was very attentive, reliable, and responsive. We were lucky to have someone who could keep our minds at ease while we were away. We would not hesitate to have her take care of our fur baby whenever needed in the future.

I started caring for my neighbor's pets when they would go away since I was about 8 years old. I have experience administering meds to my and my client's pets. I also have experience giving a dog shots of insulin for diabetes, eye drops, ear drops, anti-fungal cream & frontline.

Information Emily P. would like to know about your pet

-If your pet has any special preferences wether it’s about their food, walks, or anything necessary for me to take care of them. -Is your pet afraid of anything, such as thunderstorms/children/big cars? -Does your pet have the training basics down such as sit/down/stay? -Information about feeding schedules & medication administration (if that service is needed). -Any relevant health conditions that may be necessary to know to care for your pet.

A typical day

I will stimulate the dog both mentally and physically with walks and games. I can't wait to see what your dog's favorite toy is! I am working on a professional dog training certification so once I finish the course and gain the certification, I will be offering training services as well.
