I know how hard it can be to leave you pet in the care of others. I too feel anxiety while I am away from my furry children. While you're away I will care for your pet like my own. They will receive lots of love and attention. I am good with dogs of all sorts (big and small). If your dog needs special attention I can help with that. Special exercise needs, like a run, I can do that as well. Additionally, I LOVE taking photos (artsy ones) of your furry family members. You won't miss a minute while you're away from home. I was SO extremely happy with how Emily handled every part of the process. Communication was great, very accomodating and she sent us tons od pics and updates. The fact she has a ridgeback especially made us happy bc we have 2 so it was nice knowng she was failiar with the breed. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND:-)
Emily is our go to sitter and Andy is always well cared for. It helps that Andy, who would play all day if he could, plays well with her dog Bruce.
I cannot believe how lucky we got! Our original host sadly had a death in the family on Christmas Eve, just one day before we were set to leave on a family vacation. Panicked, I called DogVacay right away and they came to the rescue, putting out messages for me. Emily responded and was incredible, opening her home last minute and taking in our pup as one of her own. She sent a several photos or videos a day for a whole week, took our boy for hikes, and even gave him a bath before we picked him up. I could not have wished for a better experience.
Emily is great! Andy vacationed with her and her Ridgeback for 3 nights and Emily seemed to understand and appreciate Andy's high energy level. She took them on run's and walks and shared pictures often which was comforting and brought me smiles. My business trip was extended a day and Emily was able and willing to accommodate the change.
