I have a full time 9-5 job on M-F, but I work 100% remotely, so I am very flexible and able to walk and spend time with them throughout the day . I have plenty of free time on the weekend, and would love a dog to spend it with! When fostering dogs, I try to establish a routine that includes a long early morning and evening walk, and a few mid-afternoon potty breaks / play time. My personal schedule is very routine yet flexible, and I am happy to incorporate any dog into it!

I live in a spacious townhome and do have a cat. If your dog is not cat friendly, I typically place my cat in the guest room to separate them completely. This way they both have plenty of space to roam and play.

Walks and runs are my favorite! When visiting my parents, I love to take my family dog on runs. I find that it helps get a lot of energy out, and also helps her be less reactive to other dogs because she is so focused and excited on running! I give exceptional belly rubs, and love a dog who enjoys snuggling on the couch after a long day.

Hello! My name is Emily, and I would love to help care for your dog in any way needed. I am a registered dog foster at Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, and understand how important it is to find the best care possible for your dog. I have experience with reactive dogs, delivering medications to dogs, and dealing with dogs who have separation anxiety. I understand that your dog is a part of the family, and it can be challenging to leave them in the care of someone else. My goal is to treat your pet with the same level of love, care, and comfort that you do. I intend to ensure that you are at ease leaving your dog in my care, and always share pictures and updates with you throughout my time with them. I am able and willing to take care of dogs of any breed or size. If you are looking for an experienced caretaker for your pup, I would be happy to do so! Please note, I do have a cat at home. If your dog is not cat friendly, I am able to separate them entirely while your dog is with me!

Emily was kind enough to take my dog in super last minute and was very responsive! She sent regular updates and was very transparent about everything that happened throughout the stay- would definitely rebook!
Emily was so sweet and Scooby seemed to warm up to her pretty quickly! She took him in for daycare with less than a day’s notice and sent me several pics during his stay. I would definitely rebook with her.
