Hi! My name is Emily and I’m new here. I’m going to be a Ph.D. Student studying marine biology. I came from California, so I’m interested to walk dogs to explore the area, stay fit, and earn some extra income (student budget doesn’t go far!). I grew up around golden retrievers but have experience walking other breeds, such as boxers, mastiffs, and small dogs. I currently care for my cat Oscar, who was 6 pounds and very ill when I adopted him, but is now 13 pounds and loves to snuggle! Even though I have a cat, I’m definitely a dog person. Being a student makes having a dog a bit tricky, so I’d love to walk/watch yours! I have worked as an educator in K-12 school districts and held a government job which required extensive background checking. I am reliable, on time, and friendly. I have a clean driving record and drive a car with a lot of space to take your dog on adventures. Lastly, I am taking every measure possible to decrease my chances of getting covid-19, wearing masks everywhere, sheltering in place when I can, washing my hands thoroughly, etc. So I will not be a hazard to your family.
