Hi! I'm Emily and I love animals. They have been a part of my life since I was six months old (as you can see from my photos), when my parents adopted our first pound-puppy, Peaches. My love for our best friends only grew and I found that I had a natural knack for understanding and caring for animals. I have one dog of my own, Luke Skywalker, who is a five year old mutt. I rescued him from Texas and he's my best friend! I'm also very experienced in caring for kitties! I've been the go-to sitter for friends and family members' cats, including my sister's cat Toby, who me and Luke used to live with. I am an active foster of cats and kittens and really enjoying our feline friends! I've been caring for pets for the past 18 years and take it very seriously - the care and love I put towards your loved ones is my #1 priority.

Emily is absolutely a godsend! She is the best with our sweet and sensitive kitty Dora, who normally is quite hard to win over - but Emily did so immediately! Dora loves spending time with her. Emily is extremely communicative, understanding, professional and flexible. It’s such a wonderful feeling to have a trusted caregiver looking after our girl when needed. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Emily took great care of my cat Rudy! He definitely is shy around new people, but Emily made him feel comfortable and relaxed while I was gone. I definitely felt good leaving Rudy under Emily’s care and will absolutely rebook the next time I go out of town.
Emily was absolutely incredible! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about how well she took care of our 2 dogs. We traveled over the Xmas holiday weekend and Emily updated us consistently and timely with how they were doing every day. She took lots of sweet pictures that clearly showed how at ease and happy the dogs were to see her and play. I will definitely be a repeat client of hers and am just so grateful we were lucky enough to find her!

In my home, pets get 100% of my attention and are welcome anywhere they want, all while being in a controlled and pet-proofed spot! In your home, I respect the rules, the environment, and your pet's safe spaces. I leave homes cleaner than I found them and take it very seriously to be in someone else's home.

The things I like to know about a pet before sitting him or her starts with their general personality. Does your pet need to get their energy out on a run or in a park? Does your pet like to relax and take it easy and binge some Netflix (because that's okay with me too). I'd love to learn a little background and then I'll know exactly how to spend our day together! Another great thing for me to know is if your pet is comfortable being alone (and for how long), is friendly with other animals, and what they need to be happy in a day.
A typical day
On a stay with me, pets will have fun! One of my favorite things to do is go on walks and I know any animal who joins me will have the same amount of fun exploring. We'll also play together. Maybe a bit of tug of war or fetch or good old fashioned chase. Overall, I'll show your pet love and joy - in whatever form they love. If it's running for twenty minutes or snuggling up on the couch, I know we'll have a great time.

I work from home full-time with a very flexible schedule. I freelance so that means I make my own schedule - I can give your pets potty breaks, toy time, and cuddles whenever!
