Pet care experience
I grew up with a golden Labrador from the age of 3 who sadly had to get put to sleep a few years ago. I often look after friends and family’s dogs when they are working or when they go on holiday, even if it’s just to take them a walk. I still live at home with my parents who don’t want to get a dog due to it being a full time commitment and not having the time a dog deserves & needs. I also spend a lot of time at my partners house who has 2 dogs. A very excited German shepherd who is 5, and a Yorkshire terrier who is 11. I am currently a full time student but have availability outside of this to look after your pets.

I have used Emily’s services many times and can’t recommend her highly enough! I have a cavapoo and a bulldog cross who can be a little anxious around people initially. I was delighted with Emily’s calm, loving and obvious previous doggy experience as my anxious boy was immediately happy and took an instant shine to her. Emily is clearly a “doggy” person and I always feel my dogs are in safe and loving hands when I go on holiday. Emily is very responsive and sent me regular photos of my doggies clearly looking happy, settled and enjoying their walks.
Emily has looked after both my dogs on many occasions from letting them out and feeding them when we are away for the day to overnight stays when we are on holiday. Emily is trustworthy and reliable and a true animal lover. The dogs absolutely love Emily and she treats them as her own. Couldn’t recommend her services enough. I’ll come to your home to look after your pets. Before the time of booking I will visit your home while you’re there to meet pets and yourself, I can do this multiple times to ensure you’re comfortable with me looking after your pets/home. I find pet sitting pets in their own home is less stressful for them as they won’t be in an unfamiliar setting, it’s especially helpful if your animals can be anxious and particularly if they’re nervous around other dogs. You’ll come home to your house exactly as you left it.

Please let me know anything important about your pets before any visits, I.e. allergies, any health conditions. If they can be left in the house alone for any period of time, and how they are around other dogs for when out walking.
A typical day
Take them out walks, I love a big walk in nature although I know not all dogs enjoy a big walk so can do whatever is preferred. Any activities that your pet is used to on their walks.

I currently offer 5 full days where I am free (Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday). I am at college on a Tuesday & Wednesday but can discuss these days.
