Pet care experience
As someone who has grown up around dogs and pets of all kinds, I am a HUGE animal lover. I make sure to treat every pet like my own! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, etc, my whole life, but professionally, I have 6+ years of experience. I’ve done pet sitting/boarding and dog walking for many friends and clients and I’ve worked with breeds and sizes of all kinds! :) Most recently, I’ve been working for Wag, a dog walking, sitting, and boarding service. However, I was looking to expand my clientelle, which is what drew me to Rover. I am home full-time because I take care of my disabled mother-in-law. So, what better way to make some extra money than to take care of animals? I find working with animals incredibly rewarding! We have two dogs, 7 indoor cats, 2 outdoor cats, and a rabbit and I make sure any client I get is treated just like my own fur babies!

If you want the best for your dog, I would definitely recommend Emily. I booked her through Wag to board Bentley while I went on a trip out of state. I haven’t had good experiences with boarding in the past, but emily changed that for me. She sent me lots of cute pictures and videos of my boy and I could tell he was having fun! It made me feel happy to know that Bentley was in good care while I was away
I’m so glad I found Emily!!! My dogs are so happy when she comes around!!! I am one of her Wag customers and I always request her when my girls Holly and Muffin need a walk in the mornings. She is punctual and always keeps me updated. She always makes sure Holly and Muffin are taken care of and have everything that they need. Emily is one-of-a-kind!!!!!!
Emily is a great pet sitter. She takes good care of my dog. She is the only person I trust leaving my Pepper with. She follows all instructions and is very accommodating. She is truly a wonderful person and takes excellent care of her clients and their pets.
Emily is absolutely wonderful! She took care of my dog, Ziggy, when I went overseas. I got constant updates from her and I knew my dog was in good hands! Emily was also super understanding when I ended up getting stuck overseas. She had no problem keeping Ziggy longer than we planned. When I got back, I could see that my girl had gotten great care and was very happy. Would definitely use Emily to board my pup again!

I have no breed preferences! Any pup is welcome here! There are a few things I’d like to know before taking a client, in case of emergencies. In order for me to make sure your pup gets the best care, I’d like to know the following: Name, age, breed, if they are up to date on shots, if they have any health issues I should now about, and if they have any allergies or sensitivities. I’d also like to have emergency contact information (Your name and a number and the name/number of someone to call if I can’t reach you and your Veterinarian’s contact information).
A typical day
We live in a very quiet, peaceful area which is perfect for dog walking. Along with that, I also have a very big, fenced in yard that will give your baby plenty of room for some running around and play time, especially if they have a favorite toy to play with! Also, if there is anything extra you’d like, I always do my best to accommodate!

Pet Care is a full-time job for me! Since I am my mom-in-law’s caretaker, pet sitting and dog walking has become a wonderful, flexible way for me to earn money and it’s something I really enjoy!
