Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover from birth! My family has always at least two dogs in the house, and to this day my mother can't leave an animal shelter without bringing home a new family addition. In high school, I started caring for neighbors pets when they were out of town, and have continued to do so 11 years later! In college, I fostered through the lab rescue of SW Virginia, and my family adopted my last rescue, sweet Memphis! He loves to come to my house and play with my spirited boy Tucker! I have experience with small to large breeds, and much experience with the special care and needs of puppies and senior dogs. I am able to give various medications, and cater to any dietary restrictions.

Emily and Gabe took great care of Liko, and he had a great playmate in Tucker. They have a big backyard with a tall fence which is a great relief with a husky who likes to run. They were able to handle his daily medication and he seemed to be part of the family while he was there. All in all a great first experience with Rover.
Emily is incredibly caring and responsible when it comes to the needs of animals. She treats all animals with kindness, respect, and appropriate discipline. Emily has a lot of experience when it comes to being a dog sitter. She did it all through high school and college. While in college, she also decided to join a foster team to find new homes for foster dogs. Aditionally, Emily was able to teach everything to our golden retriever last year, and that dog is not only perfectly trained, but gentle, loving, and a little bit spoiled! Emily makes sure that Tucker gets long walks everyday, ample time to play outside, and plenty of exercise by hour long fetch sessions! She is the perfect dog-sitter and you can 100% trust her!

A typical day
We may go on walks around the neighborhood, to the Prince William Forest park, or even the Shirlington dog park (it's my favorite!) Activities include peanut butter treats, fetch, and belly rubs! If your dog is a runner, please let me know! I love to take my boy on runs to help get some of that energy out!
