I love doing everything with dogs! Of course, I go on walks with dogs, but I go the extra mile. I love chatting with them and asking their “opinion” on things, such as whether it is time to water my plants or if it is time for a treat. With my Chihuahua, I love to lay down on the floor so I am at his eye level and give him kisses and pet him. He loves this!! Every Chihuahua I have laid down with casually since loves it too. Of course, I would lay around your dog, give them kisses, and hugs too!! While Percy isn’t always the brightest bulb, I love to practice tricks. I grew up with a Standard Poodle, a rather smart dog breed. I taught him to sit, stay, crawl, hug, speak, “find it” (find toy hidden somewhere), and the names of many toys. So, whether your dog mixes up sit and down like my Chihuahua (he’s doing his best, and I love him for it) or knows every trick in the book, I am happy to practice!! I also love making sure bedding is ~ just so ~ for any dog I sit. For my Chihuahua it is arranging the blankets perfectly. For the senior Standard Poodle, it was making sure he was comfy, knowing how to help him get up when needed, and making sure he got a blanket when needed. I love finding out about each dog’s personality, so I can help make them comfiest.
