My husband and I could not be more grateful for the care Emily has provided our dogs. Truly her moving to Nebraska was a loss for us and more so for our boy. Our Lab was a diabetic dog who developed muscular arthritis as a senior. Emily was the one we trusted as his sitter knowing she was providing the same level of care that we did covering all of his needs. She was also his dog whisperer. When his anxiety ran high, we’d contact her to come over keeping him company and reassuring him until he was comforted. Emily had a calming nature and soothing voice that he always responded positively to! She helped me feel reassured more than once as well by her doing so. Emily grieved his loss as though he was her dog. In a way, he was! Until her recent move, she also took care of our 36 pound Mountain Cur, Black Lab mix starting the day he joined our family. Our little guy so looked forward to seeing her, walking with her, playing fetch, and relaxing together. He loved sitting on her lap receiving lots of petting while giving Emily licks. We value that she loves him thinking of him as one of her dogs! What has been especially unique and appreciated was her taking the time to learn our commands and hand signals effectively using both. Emily was a roommate of mine for a while, and she helped me tremendously with my dog. I have a 60+ pound pit bull/beagle mix, and she would always help me with her when I had to work or left the house. She is one of the biggest animal lovers I know, and she would take amazing care of your pet! Whether that involves plenty of walks with an energetic pup or lots of snuggles and potty breaks with an elderly doggo, she would be perfect for the job. 10/10 recommend Emily for anyone looking for a dog sitter!
