Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Emily and it would be my pleasure to help take care of your furry friend! I have been working as a dog walker and pet sitter for over 10 years and couldn't be happier with job. I originally got in to this field out of pure love for dogs and a desire to spend more time with animals. I have some experience with training, though I am not a certified trainer. I grew up with dogs, and have developed quite the intuition over the years. Although I grew up in a feline free home, I've developed a deep adoration for kitties too! I'm very active, so I will gladly take your pup for a nice long walk, run, or some play time in the park. Looking forward to meeting you and your best friend!

I'll go over the specifics of your house before walks or a stay & make sure that your pup is never off leash in an area they shouldn't be! If there are any other specific safety measures you'd like to take we can go over them in our meet & greet.

Please let me know if your pup experiences aggression toward other animals or humans, it happens, it's just best to know ahead of time! Alternately, if your pup has any fears (other pups, loud noises, cars) I'd like to know those too. Please inform me of any allergies, plus I would like to know if your pet has any special needs or requires any medication. I have years of experience administering medication to senior and differently abled fur babies, but always like to review the specifics with you before a stay.
A typical day
I am very flexible with my sitting style and am always looking to prioritize you and your pup's comfort. I will, of course, provide your dog with any meals or medication necessary. I'll also provide plenty of playtime considering I'm very active myself! Your pup will go on several walks per day, unless of course your pup has special needs that prevent them from enjoying walks. I'm willing and able to spend the night at your place, however if you're not comfortable with this, I can offer my services until the last walk for the evening, then return in the morning. Kind of like a doggy daycare, except one-on-one! In addition to taking care of your pets I'll gladly bring in your mail and water the plants.

Availability
I am a freelance worker, which means I have all the time in the world to care for your pets! My schedule is fairly flexible for walks and drop ins, and if I am house sitting I will be there a majority of the time. I will always communicate beforehand if there is an extended window where I will be away from your pets.
