Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs in my own for 15 years and over 20 years if you include our family dog. My dog and my mom’s dog (that I boarded often while my mom traveled) are both rescue dogs with trauma (some unknown trauma) and I worked extensively with professional trainers and behaviourists to help them adjust and did our own work together. Our family dog we got as a puppy, together potty trained and leash trained him, I also taught him multiple basic commands when I was 8 years old.

Emily was great with our dog Boss. He is a small chihuahua and is mostly shy around other people. He stayed over for 8 nights and we were worried he may be very antisocial, but Emily made him feel really comfortable, he even came to her for cuddles the next day after we left. Emily is great with dogs and can definitely make your friend feel cozy! Thank you once again!
I have known Emily for almost 5 years. She has always been someone I can count on. Her friendly demeanour makes it easy for people to connect with. Emily is patient and my dogs absolutely love her! My Rottweiler/husky can be riled up by my tiny Bichon Shih Tzu but she's able to handle them really well! We received updates and lots of pictures while with Emily that my sister and I really appreciated! Emily is honestly amazing!
Emily provides excellent pet care as was demonstrated when she looked after my rescue pittie several times. It got so my dog was more excited to see Emily than me!. As well as being an excellent dog mom herself, Emily has an inherent skill when it comes to meeting and caring for dogs. She is reliable and possesses excellent customer service skills. I would not hesitate to recommend Emily to care for your dog, be it a walk or a longer stay. Your pup will love her!
Emily has looked after my two babies on numerous occasions, and I have complete faith in her abilities to do so repeatedly! She's dependable, compassionate, nurturing, and someone I have absolute trust in. Both of my dogs have distinct personalities and requirements. My small dog tends to be anxious and skittish, and I'm cautious about who I entrust him with, especially considering his tendency to run away in the past. However, when I retrieved him after Emily's care, he was calmly seated on her lap – a sight I've rarely witnessed!

I live in an apartment so am conscious to go outside regularly and for walks or to the park. I live near Queens Park so there are lots of dog friendly parks and walks.

Availability
I love with a dog, so pet care has to fit in my daily and weekly routine. We do daily walks and potty breaks (as I live in an apartment) - she’s older so just one main walk is all that is required now and all she can handle now. When she was younger we would do two walks a day and potty breaks. There’s a routine for time of day and her eating schedule.
