Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog since I was 3 years old and have been the go-to dog watcher in my neighborhood. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds and cannot imagine life without pets! My dog passed away in September so it has been hard without her but I would love to use my downtime efficiently and be there for other dogs! I really feel very comfortable around dogs and would care for them like my own. Dogs truly are man’s best friend and it’s so important they are lovingly watched over when their owner is away! I’ve got you covered!

Emily is someone who we could always count on to watch our dogs when we were away. She is well known in the neighborhood for being an excellent pet sitter. We have big had big dogs who like to sleep in bed and this is something Emily welcomed so that they felt loved while we were away. Emily took the time to play with them in addition to providing sufficient walks for our dogs daily. She has an enthusiastic personality and we love her presence!

A typical day
I enjoy when pets are engaged whether they are playing with a toy or running around outside. I really enjoy dog parks, but that would be up to the owner’s discretion. Timbercreek is a good one- it is wooded with trails and fenced in. Dogs love exploring and it’s a great opportunity for them to interact with other dogs/owners.

Availability
Currently I work for a distribution center for USPS and my schedule is Monday-Friday 4pm to 12:30am, but I’m trying to be moved to either the day shift (7am-3:30pm) or the overnight shift (10pm-6:30am). If I find the need is strong for pet sitting over night I certainly wouldn’t work overnight. For now I have a lot of downtime during the day and my weekends are free.
