I've been taking care of dogs and other animals for about 6 years, including friends and family, although I've had animals my entire life. I've worked at Camp Bow Wow for 2 years and have worked in multiple veterinary clinics for 2 years now.

I've taken care of older dogs with medication, including some injections as well as experience with puppy training pretty recently. I understand the demand that puppies and older pups need constant care and pop-ins, which I'm totally up for. Since working at Camp Bow Wow, working in veterinary clinics, and having veterinarians as parents, I'm fully aware of how to properly take care of your pets if in an emergency and what their behavior means.

Important information to know about a dog or dogs is their aggression and behavior day-to-day, how they behave when new people come into their environment, how they treat other animals whether cats or dogs coming into their environment, and how they are behavior wise when they are left alone or stressed out. As well as any medication and medical symptoms to make sure all of those are taken care of.
A typical day
Some fun activities I like to do with dogs is to go on walks all over the area. I like to walk too and allowing them to enjoy outside and smelling all the smells makes it that much better. I would also try to find some dog parks near by if the owner would be okay with that and also look for some trails, if any.

Availability
I'm working part-time at Banfield in Okemos and trying to get some experience in more vet clinics and veterinarians while also being a full-time student. Still, I always have free days/weekends for check-ups, not to mention before and after work.
