I’m newer to the dog care experience. I had a 1 year old golden retriever for the last 6 months of my marriage a few years ago. I loved taking him for walks along the river and playing in the yard. He was virtually perfect and I miss his precious face and personality so much! I’m not in the place to have a pup of my own right now, so I love to borrow my brother’s for an afternoon once in awhile. My schedule is pretty flexible thanks to my part-time job having an amazing schedule. I do have two cats, but they go in the basement when the dogs come to visit as to not increase their anxiety. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so off-leash time would need to be at your home or another location where the pup already knows their boundaries. My home has enough space for indoor play. Starting out I’d like to stick to more family-friendly personalities who are trained at least somewhat. I know that your pup will be loved and snuggled with plenty and taken interesting places for fun walks. Our pets are an extension of ourselves, so I will be extra gentle with your pup.
