Pet care experience
I have two dogs and one cat of my own, and I extend the same love I have for them to all other animals I come in contact with. When I am caring for your animals their safety, health, and happiness are my top priorities. I have been house sitting for cats and dogs since 2010, I also have experience house sitting for in-home foster cats/dogs, and volunteering as a dog-walker at the local humane society. In my spare time I also do community TNR for feral cats. With this experience I have been exposed to a high volume of dogs and cats with various needs. I have developed an ability to walk dogs of all different sizes, cats and dogs with different behavioral back grounds, and to pick up on their own individual characteristics to be able to anticipate their needs and keep them safe in and out of the home.

Emily was wonderful with Darla! She was friendly, quick to respond, and sent me tons of pictures of Darla on their walk ☺️ I knew she was in great hands and it was one less thing I had to worry about. We have had Emily dog/house sit a number of times and always come home to a very happy pup. She is conscious of schedules and our requests for when we are gone and regularly sends updates and/or photos letting us know all is OK. Super responsible and highly recommend!
We always know that our cats get the best care when Emily is looking after them. She is absolutely trustworthy and brings a deep love of animals to this work. One of our cats was diabetic, and Emily was happy to come over twice a day to make sure that he got his insulin shots on time. Animals tend to love their routines (or lack thereof) My #1 rule for pet sitting is to give them the exact same care, or better, that you give them! When we do our first meet-and-greet I will get to know the pets schedule, their favorite spots in the house and yard, places they do and do not like to be touched, where they like to go on their walks, how they behave on a leash, and I will do my best to modify my daily routine to accommodate what is normal for them.

I love this question - but really what we will do is up to the individual pet(s). I like to meet them where they are at! That being said, the list of activities I am willing to do with your pets is long!

I have a full time job but it is very seasonal. So November through May I work less than 40 hours a week, and even on the days that I do work I am able to be flexible with my start and end times.
