Pet care experience
I am a lifelong dog owner, recent college grad, and "new" New Yorker. Library professional by day, dog mom by night. My experience is predominately with small dogs (I grew up with a lhasa, toy poodles, a havanese and now have a shih tzu). I am currently training my 2 year old shih tzu, Yoshi, to be a certified therapy dog. I look forward to exploring the city and meeting all New York's finest doggies!

Before sitting a dog, I would like to know their: Favorite toy Affection level (do they like being cuddled? do they want to be left alone?) Treat preference and how much Commands Bedtime Energy level Comfort level with other dogs (good to know on walks and in parks) My predominate experience is with: Shih Tzu Havanese Toy Poodle Lhasa Apso Terriers However, I am open to any dog. I am most comfortable with dogs 50 pounds and under.
A typical day
I love exploring New York's side streets and little parks. Big fan of sitting at outdoor cafes with my dog in tow! World-class human champion of tug-of-war (versus shih tzu Yoshi).
