Pet care experience
I have had dogs since I was a little girl and have years of experience taking care of and loving them. I would pet sit for friends and neighbors when I was young and still do. Since entering adulthood I have had 5 Labradors and have a great knowledge of the breed. When I was younger I worked at two different vet clinics. I have a great love for animals. I work a full time job. I am available in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I get an hour lunch this allows for me to be available during my lunch break to allow for potty breaks. I have a privacy fence at home. I currently do not have a dog. We will be welcoming a new dog into our home sometime in December. I will need to know if your pet has any known allergies, if they have any aversions, any behavioral issues. I want to ensure you and your pet have a positive experience.

Emily is a dog lover! She watched my mini Aussie for a week while I was out of state. She asked me everything she needed to know ( feeding schedule, kennel trained, favorite toys, car rides, walks) He’s a very hyper dog and takes a long time to warm up to people. She sent me updates, videos and photos. By the 2nd day she sent me a video of him licking her face so I know he loved her. She has a large fenced in yard for him to run and play in. She worked with him on walking on a leash. She is amazing with dogs and has a warm dog loving home! and I will not use anyone else but her because I have no worries when he is with her!
Emily was great watching my lab for me! My dog has some separation anxiety and really takes some time(days) to open up to strangers. Emily had him loving on her right away. She’s kind, caring, responsible, dependable, and an animal lover.

I have administered insulin via injection for cats before as well and given fluids. This can all be discussed and if we’re both comfortable be can make arrangements for care.
A typical day
Depending on the dogs age and ability we can do a variety of things. Such as playing fetch in my backyard, or with whatever toy they prefer to play with. Go for walks and belly rubs. I would love for the owner to tell me what their dog loves to do.
