Pet care experience
I am a nurse who is available to assist with the care of your pets in my spare time. I love all animals! I currently have a six year old cat who I rescued as a stray kitten and a 11mo rescue dog. I have plenty of dog experience both personally and volunteering. I have taken care of a variety of breeds including, Labrador Retrievers, Shar Pei Mixes, Pit Mixes, Belgian Malinois, Dachshunds, Pugs, and German Short-hair Pointers. In addition for caring for my friends' animals, I also volunteered at the local humane society as a dog walker. I am also open to caring for cats as needed, whether drop in visits or possibly boarding. My cat is extremely friendly and well trained, she even knows how to sit on command. Emily took wonderful care of our two cats while my wife and I were out of town. She was awesome and very responsive and communicative when we needed to pass or receive information with her. Any food aggression, skill level of animal, friendliness with children and other animals, allergies or special needs. I have experience with many of dogs who may have behavioral issues but knowing this ahead of time is helpful!
A typical day
Walks, dog parks (if okay with pet parents!), mental stimulation with different toys. I love to go hiking and to Belle Isle which are both dog friendly activities!

Availability
My schedule varies as a nurse but I work 3 days a week which leaves 3-4 days of availability. As long as I have notice ahead of time I am happy to assist with your pet needs!
