I am very passionate about animals! I have had a small dog for 15 years and have recently adopted a puppy to add to my family. I am responsible, hard working and eager to spend time with your pups! Let me know of any specific needs that your dog has, I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as new puppies so I am able to administer medications and provide for your specific pets needs. My availability varies every week since I work a full time job and volunteer at AARCS a few times a week but I am available to house sit any day of the week and for walks and drop in visits I work from home so my hours are flexible. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

Emily was able to come over and watch my furry trio when I had to leave town for a day due to a friend's emergency. She got along just fine with all of my animals, took my dog for a walk, and made sure to send pics! Emily was friendly and didn't leave me in the dark. Your pets and home are in trustworthy hands with her!
Emily looked after our house and pups this past week and did a fabulous job! She sent us pictures of our pups and updates at least once a day. We came home to happy fur babies as well as a very clean house. We will definitely book Emily again!

I offer house sitting (at your home), dog walking and drop-in visits, each of these services requires a different level of care and attention to the pet. For house sitting jobs I care for pets by regularly feeding them, letting them outside, taking them for walks, playing or setting up enrichment activities for them. With house-sitting I also send daily updates on how the pet is doing to ensure you feel comfortable with how your pet is being cared for while you are away. For dog-walking and drop -ins the type of care varies on the clients request, in my experience this has ranged from quick walks to behavioural training and comfort training with reactive and fearful dogs.

A typical day
I love to take my dogs on walks in the forested area in my neighbourhood or to the fenced dog parks in Sherwood Park! I also think it's important to stimulate them both mentally and physically so I use different puzzles such as Kongs, Snuffle mats, treat balls or lickimats to keep them stimulated throughout the day.

My family has had at least one dog in our family for the last 16 years of my life, so pet care is a normal and integral part of my life. I regularly factor time to walk/feed/play with my dog or the ones in my care into my daily and weekly routines.
