I’ve always had a dog growing up and I love dogs! My family has had two different terriers and I have a reactive but lovable cattle dog mix of my own! I love caring for cats too and especially enjoy taking time to play with their favorite toys (wand toys are my favorite!!) I currently own a large sized rescue dog who has dog reactivity. Because of this I have experience implementing behavior therapies and training for reactive dogs. If you inform me of your dog’s plan, I am happy to follow it and am comfortable working with moderately reactive dogs. While I’ve never had a cat of my own, I’ve had plenty of experience and repeat cat clients. I’m happy to scoop the litter box and play with any toys during my visit. I’m looking forward to meeting your furry family members! I am an elementary school teacher. During the school year I have limited availability during the week but I will have almost full availability & flexibility during the summer months. I am unable to care for dogs and cats in my home due to my own dog’s anxiety but will loyally follow any care plan or itinerary that you leave to make sure that your baby is well taken care of.
